Thar She Blows!

Whale watching is an interesting sport. The trip can last up to four hours, the majority of which is spent coming and going. The weather can be iffy, actual sightings can be sketchy, but everyone boards the ship with a giddy anticipation nonetheless.

Our trip aboard the Dolphin Fleet out of Provincetown was near perfection. The weather was incredible, the naturalist, Kim, very knowledgeable and the sightings....well, according to our crew, a stellar, over the top day!

We literally lost count of the number of whales we saw. And, the dolphin were everywhere, as well. Performing acrobatic stunts wherever we turned. Our onboard spotter finally stopped pointing out a sighting. Resigned, she finally said, "Folks, anywhere on the boat today is a good spot. There is a show everywhere!"

And, indeed there was!

  2. I guess they didbn't realize "the witch" was on board and it couldn't have been anything BUT a spectacular day for the show!

  3. Amazing, Susan, how the best seems to fall in place when you make these special journeys. After all, anyone who can make it snow when there is suppose to be no snow, obviously has special powers!!! Hope these extra special things keep happening for you two through out your journey.
