Chicken and Moose

There is one lone destination stop along the route to Tok and that is the booming metropolis of Chicken. It is a find.











The town boasts a gift store, cafe (serving, of course, chicken soup), much needed tavern (even a pool table!), and yes, an appropriately named outhouse, the Chicken Poop. Can't make this up!


Our requisite stretch of legs, snack indulgence, and some kind of gift purchase behind us, we trudge forward. And, what to our wandering eye should appear....well, a moose! She posed beautifully for our cameras as we halt briefly for the photo op. One more reason why a Chicken stop is a must!
