Two young 50-something females. One big adventure exploring the Americas. Have liquidated everything they own and packed a Saturn Vue with bare necessities to set out on this journey. Planting seeds at each juncture symbolizing their new growth. With an open mind and heart, ready to get a true view of this world.

Streets of DC

Time in DC is phenomenal. Celeste has captured the sites beautifully, I think you'll agree. Here is just a sampling of all we saw and did while here.

From Dupont Circle to the White House, our excursions bring incredible architecture, history and the rightful protestors. The security intermingled with all our freedom is particularly evident. An interesting sidebar.

One of my favorite restaurants, Zaytinya, provides the perfect happy hour and a Mike Isabella, Top Chef contestant, sighting - fun!!!

Ashley, Allison and Katie personify the DC energy that prevails at all of the happy hour venues - this one at Poste Moderne at the Hotel Monocco - outdoor seating at it's finest and alive with the feel of spring finally upon the city!

Thanks DC for a spectacular show!!!!!
